Director Cinemambiente International Film Festival
Capizzi graduated in Critique and History of Cinema. He works in the cinema field as a critic and organizer of cultural events and film festivals. He is the Founder and Director of Cinemambiente Environmental Film Festival in Torino, Italy. Capizzi is also the Founder & General Coordinator of the Green Film Network.

Head of communication ETH Board
As head of communication Casutt is responsible for the internal and external corporate communication of the Board of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology ETH Board and coordinates the political communication of the ETH Domain with its Federal Institutes of Technology ETH Zurich and EPFL and the four research institutes PSI, Empa, WSL and Eawag. He is an expert in strategic science communication and since 2021 president of the EUPRIO.
CHRISTIAN FREI
Oscar-nominated filmmaker
Frei is a renowned international filmmaker and film producer. He is an associate lecturer on Reflection Competence at the University of St. Gallen. He was president of the Documentary Film Commission for the film section of the Swiss Federal Office of Culture. The Oscar-nominated filmmaker is the president of the Swiss Film Academy since August 2010. In 2021 the University of St. Gallen awarded Frei an honorary doctorate of social sciences.
JOSEFA HAAS
Head of Communications Swissuniversities
Haas is Head of Communications at swissuniversities. She served for many years as President of SWISS FILMS. Today, she is active in the film sector among other things as a member of the Academy for the Swiss Film Prize and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Locarno Film Festival.
GABRIELLA KARGER
Chair Karger Publishers
Karger is a fourth generation publisher and Chair of the Board of Directors of Karger Publishers, a global publisher for scientific and medical content based in Basel. The publishing program comprises over 110 specialist journals in over 30 specialist areas as well as content for patients and medical professionals. Due to many trips around the globe, she has a large network in the scientific world and insights into exciting new developments in the industry.
Prof. Dr. GABRIELA SCHAEPMAN-STRUB
Scientific Director Swiss Polar institute
Schaepman-Strub is professor of Earth System Science at the University of Zurich and Scientific Director of the Swiss Polar Institute. She is regularly out in the Siberian Arctic for fieldwork. Her research focuses on global change drivers and their interaction with Arctic biodiversity, ecosystem functions, and people.

HENRIETTE BORNKAMM
Bornkamm is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and a film scholar. Her documentary “When you are gone, I’ll still be there”, is critically acclaimed at film festivals worldwide. She is currently employed for the Swiss television programs called "Sternstunde Philosophie" and "Sternstunde Religion"
SIMONE BUCHER VAN LIGTEN
Bucher van Ligten works at ETH Zurich’s Office of the President, where she curates science exhibitions in cooperation with artists and designers. She teaches storytelling to scientists and has travelled the world for over two decades for Swiss national TV SRF, where she produced award-winning reports and documentaries.
MARKUS STEIN
Stein is head of the Video & TV Department at the NZZ. He is responsible for the video team's web explainer and the documentary show NZZFormat. As a former ZDF graphics editor and trained designer, he has a particularly high level of expertise in the field of visual explanatory graphics. With his teams, he produces videos and documentaries from almost all subject areas.
ISABELLA SEDIVY
Sedivy worked for the WSL 3 years. She then worked at the Swiss national TV SRF for producing nature documentaries for the Swiss program called “Netz Natur” and she directed the program “Mission B”. Since 2021 she has her own company, called “Plan Biodivers”.
KATHARINA WEIKL
Weikl is the Head of the Art and Science Office at University of Zurich. She is promoting the interdisciplinary exchange between the arts (including film), research and the participation and engagement of a broad public.

SILVIE CUPERUS
Cuperus is head of Life Science Zurich and responsible for Communication & Events. She supports researchers in science communication and realizes outreach activities. She collaborates with various partners at the intersection of science and society to bring scientific findings to the public. Cuperus holds a PhD in Food Science from ETH.
CLAUDIA HEGGLIN
Hegglin studied Sociology, Political & Environmental Sciences at University of Zurich and worked several years in the field environmental education. She teaches courses in the domain of sustainability, is coordinating the study program “Environmental Sciences” and is helping to set up a new study program “Biodiversity” at UZH.
ISABEL KLUSMAN
Klusman is a neuroscientist by training. For 25 years she has focused on science communication, organizing science slams, panel discussions and exhibitions with scientific content for an interested lay audience. Since 2017 she has been the head of the Zoological Museum of the University of Zurich. She is passionate about communicating scientific content to a lay public and is open for new ways to promote the dialogue between scientist and the public.
